Why does this role exist?
Jungli is growing into a 100-person nomad villageβand we're bringing old bungalows to life with limewash, art, and a whole lot of love this monsoon. We're looking for hands-on volunteers who enjoy physical work, love creating cozy spaces, and want to help build India's first nomad village using sustainable practices.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Learn the art of making limewash (natural paint; quarter the price of chemical paint)
- Lime-paint interior walls in bungalows (natural, breathable, beautiful)
- No outside/roof painting β we keep it safe
- Replace torn mosquito meshes
- Clean rooms post-renovation, move furniture
- Hang art, lights, and mirrors
- Help turn pre-loved bungalows into dreamy spaces
- Co-live with volunteers sharing similar values
- Learn from Nadim (architect & sustainable building expert)
- Collaborate with Technical Ops team
Eligibility Requirements
- Kind, curious, and up for a jungle adventure
- Physically able and don't mind manual labour
- Willing to live onsite at Jungli for at least 2 weeks
- Love the idea of building India's first nomad village

Why does this role exist?
Jungli the Nomad Village is only one vertical on this 150 acre campus. Now, we are leaning into turning our industrial waste product (slag) into something valuable. We are also looking to turn our land into revenue via ethical & organic farming practices. Lastly, we're trying a moonshot: livestreaming our temple's aarthi's to connect with spiritual devotees across India!

Jungli is on an exciting journey of growth, and our food & beverage operations are a key part of the experience. As we scale to serve 40+ people and elevate our guest experience, we need a systems-driven, food lover to step up as our Kitchen Ops Manager. Their job is to refine our kitchen operations and breathe life into our new Jungli CafΓ© & Store.

- CafΓ© & Store revamp: Take over basic setup and refine operations
- Menu development: Research, cost, and add items with improved design
- Customer journey: Optimize from ordering to billing experience
- Space transformation: Turn shed into inviting store with aesthetic improvements
